Shakespeare in the Park – ‘If music be the food of love, play on!’ Looking for a great family event in Austin? The Zilker Hillside Theater is currently running its 28th season of Shakespeare in the Park which features a Bollywood-inspired production of Twelfth Night; or What You Will. The production will run Thursdays – Sundays through May 27th and introduces new music by Austin singer/songwriter Naga Valli. Admission is free, but donations are accepted! So pack up the family and a picnic and enjoy a new twist on one of Shakespeare’s most popular romantic comedies! The show starts at 8PM so be sure to get there early to get a good spot! Facebook donation drive

We'll be wrapping up our Facebook "like" drive for the Lake Travis Thrift Shop this weekend! So far we've raised $125 to donate to their Small Miracles Fund. The Lake Travis Thrift Shop does so much for the people of Lake Travis, especially those in need. We wanted to show our appreciation by committing to raise money to help them. We used Facebook and had friends and patients "like" our Facebook Page. For each new "like" we donated $1 towards this great local charity! We've also tried to help them periodically through the Bee Caves Rotary Club and donating toothbrushes and toothpaste along with other Dentists.

Implant Sedation Dentistry and Lady Gaga

Just saw the Lady Gaga Monster Ball show this past Friday in Dallas, Tx. What an awesome show! Lady Gaga is extremely talented and put on an absolutely amazing concert! The music, the outfits, and the energy were all phenomenal! On one part of the stage, in bright neon lights it says, "Implants Sedation Dentistry." How cool is that! As an Austin and Lakeway Dentist, it was pretty cool and exciting to see that sign as part of the set and stage!

Local Austin Dentist and Lakeway Dentist, Dr Tejas Patel volunteered at the HVAC free medical and dental clinic again this evening. The clinic is open Wednesday nights and offers medical and dental care to those without insurance and of low income. The clinic is supported by over a hundred volunteers and through generous donations from the community. Dr Tejas Patel practices Family and Cosmetic Dentistry in Lakeway and serves clients from all over Austin as well.
