We'll be wrapping up our Facebook "like" drive for the Lake Travis Thrift Shop this weekend! So far we've raised $125 to donate to their Small Miracles Fund. The Lake Travis Thrift Shop does so much for the people of Lake Travis, especially those in need. We wanted to show our appreciation by committing to raise money to help them. We used Facebook and had friends and patients "like" our Facebook Page. For each new "like" we donated $1 towards this great local charity! We've also tried to help them periodically through the Bee Caves Rotary Club and donating toothbrushes and toothpaste along with other Dentists.

Dr Patel sponsor of Lake Pointe Elementary Carnival
Dr Patel was one of the many sponsors for today's Lake Pointe Elementary Carnival. The PTO did an amazing job of organizing a fun and fabulous carnival! Dr Patel practices family, general, and cosmetic dentistry in Lakeway and serves patients from Bee Caves and all over Austin. Dr Patel is very involved in the community and loves to give back locally and globally!

Lakeway General Dentistry & Metal Free Restorations
Our guest wanted to replace the large silver filling on the back tooth and the porcelain metal crown on the tooth in front of it. She wanted an option to fix her teeth with no metal. We completed two porcelain restorations on her back two teeth that looked more natural than what she had before. Also, the restorations we used were metal free, so no dark lines at the gum line and no darkness on her tooth to be seen when she spoke or laughed.
