Roller Derby Fans: Austin Hosts The Star of Texas Bowl

Looking for a fun, cool event to check out? This weekend, the best of the best in roller derby will compete at The Star of Texas Bowl presented by The Texas Rollergirls. You can experience two days of roller derby competition and events at the Austin Convention Center.  Competitors include Texas Rollergirls, The Texecutioners, Gotham Girls, Windy City Rollers, B.ay A.rea D.erby Girls, and The Golden Girls.  

Tickets range from $20-$55.

Dr Patel volunteers at local LT Love Dental Care Event

Dr Patel and team volunteered this afternoon with LT Love's first Dental Care Day. LT Love hopes to make this an annual event! Dr Patel and other local Drs were able to see over 70 patients today. The patients were local Lake Travis school kids in need of dental screening and dental care. Thanks to LT Love and Dr Robinson for their support! We're looking forward to next year!

Dr Patel was one of the many sponsors for today's Lake Pointe Elementary Carnival. The PTO did an amazing job of organizing a fun and fabulous carnival! Dr Patel practices family, general, and cosmetic dentistry in Lakeway and serves patients from Bee Caves and all over Austin. Dr Patel is very involved in the community and loves to give back locally and globally!

Dr Patel was at the Bee Cave Public Library today reading at story time to the kids. This month the library is focusing on the letter "D." Dr Patel was representing "D" is for "Dentist." He read a book about a loose tooth to the children and gave out goodies. Dr Patel wanted to thank the Bee Caves Library for all the great work they do and for inviting him to be a guest of storytime. Dr Patel also gave the parents some pointers on dental hygiene for their children and answered questions on dental health. Dr Patel has a dental office in Lakeway and serves patients from Bee Caves as well as Lakeway and all over Austin.

Bee Cave Rotary now an Officially Chartered Rotary Club

Dr Tejas Patel is very proud to announce that the Bee Caves Chapter of Rotary International is now officially chartered as a Rotary Club! Dr Patel has been involved with the Bee Caves Rotary for over a year now and has just signed up to head the Committee for International Projects. Dr Patel is a Dentist serving the Austin and Lakeway areas.

Austin Dentist, Lakeway Dentist to speak to Men's Breakfast Club of Lakeway

Dr Patel is scheduled to speak to the Men's Breakfast Club of Lakeway, Wed, June 2nd from 8-9am. He'll be giving a talk called "How to add 10 years to your life." The talk will be given at the Lakeway Activity Center. Dr Patel maintains a Dental Practice that focuses on Comprehensive Family General Dentistry and Cosmetic Dentistry that serves Lakeway Tx and Austin Tx.

Lakeway Dentist Volunteers at Local HVAC Dental Clinic

Local Lakeway Dentist volunteered at the HVAC (Healthcare Volunteer Associates Clinic) here in Lakeway this week. The HVAC clinic provides healthcare and dental care to those in the community who have no access to basic medical and dental treatment. The Clinic is located in Lakeway Plaza and serves many individuals from Lakeway and surrounding communities that have no health insurance or medical assistance and are from lower income households and just don't have the means to get the proper health care treatment they need. The staff of the HVAC clinic are exclusively voluntary, with the staff including dentists, physicians, nurses, medical assistants and more. All treatments and services provided as well as medications are complimentary. If you'd like to learn more about volunteering contact 512-263-0265. The clinic is open Wednesday evenings. Dr Patel was able to see many patients on his last visit to the clinic and provided voluntary dental services to those in need. Dr Patel says, "I'm excited to be a part of this great clinic! I think it's so amazing that we have this clinic right here in our community and that through donations and volunteer efforts this clinic goes above and beyond to help those in need."

Local Dentist completes LVI’s Treating SBDs (Sleep Breathing Disorders)

The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies proudly announces the completion of our Treating Sleep Breathing Disorder course by Dr. Tejas Patel. This two and a half day, hands-on program equips doctors with the skills and knowledge needed to treat their patients predictably and conservatively through being able to diagnose and treat Sleep Breathing Disorders.

Dr. Tejas Patel completed the Treating SBDs program under the direction of Dr. Kent Smith, DDS. While at LVI, Dr. Tejas Patel underwent intensive training on how to evaluate, diagnose and treat SBD patients so that they will not only make patients sleep better, but feel better as well.
